Hello, my name is Sheila (she/her/ella), and I am a Cuban-born Psychotherapist, specializing in trauma and relationships. I hold national certification as a Trauma Specialist and have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages. I earned my training at Carlos Albizu University and further honed my trauma expertise at Kristi House, a child advocacy center dedicated to supporting children and families.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with teens, young adults, and adults in both individual and group settings, helping them navigate the challenges of trauma and relationship dynamics. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about walking alongside trauma survivors on their healing journeys, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for growth and recovery.

I bring three years of experience working with children ages 3 to 18 who have experienced physical abuse, sexual abuse, and various other forms of trauma.

Additionally, I have six years of experience providing support to children, couples, individuals, and families, helping them navigate challenges and heal from difficult life experiences
